Tunes of the Day: Postmodern Jukebox

Have you heard any of the Postmodern Jukebox videos yet on youtube? One is floating around social media now, a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” performed by Haley Reinhart.  Haley is one of those uber-talented singers who got eliminated from a reality TV talent show, and who hopefully will be very successful anyway.  Postmodern Jukebox is a cool project which creates excellent 20’s-50’s style covers of modern songs, along with great renditions of vintage classics. Postmodern Jukebox is touring this season and will be playing a show in Englewood, Colorado, on June 14, if you want to see them play live.

Here is that “Creep” video, which is pretty awesome.

If you want more awesomeness, here are a few other amazing videos to check out-

Here’s one featuring Haley Reinhart and 2 other ladies in lush harmony-

I love the rag-style piano in this next one, a cover of that oh so annoying song, “Call Me Maybe”, originally by Carly Rae Jepsen.

And here’s a gorgeous cover of the John Legend song “All of Me”, with some fantastic vocals.
