Ravens Rock: Fierce Bad Rabbit, Yawpers, Winger

Music is meant to be heard, not gabbed about, which is part of what makes promoting it tough- until you hear it you don’t know how it sounds, so you can’t be certain you’ll like it. No amount of reading about it can shortcut actually listening. Here are 3 rock bands for you to enjoy.

Fierce Bad Rabbit

If you are a Fort Collins music fan you probably know this first band. Fierce Bad Rabbit is still going strong, and from what I’ve seen on social media, new music may be coming from them in the nearish future.
This is my favorite song from Fierce Bad Rabbit. It was on the Whensday soundtrack, so if you saw that movie this song should be familiar.

The Yawpers
The second band I’m featuring today in the rock music genre, the Yawpers, is one that reminds me of the Doors, and classic punk rock. I’ve seen them live, and they put on a fantastic live show, but they are a band I was just getting to know when I had to leave Fort Collins.  They are a member of SpokesBUZZ, and they hail from Denver.

And here’s a nice acoustic song from the Yawpers, with a rather different sound, but still a very rock-oriented finish.

Last, but not least, here is a new video from a band I enjoyed in the 80’s. Winger has abrand new album this year, Better Days Comin’, and this is one of the official music videos released to promote this new album. I always like that 80’s hair-band singers actually could sing, no autotune required, and Kip Winger still has an excellent voice for rock music.
