1676 Great Spotify Tunes (8)

Hopefully you’ve all had a chance to check out the songs from the previous 7 posts in this series, which highlights 1676 songs I highly recommend. When I just want a lot of really good music, like a radio station, but without songs I dislike, and without the repeats of the same 5 artists and songs overe and over every couple hours, I turn on my spotify Starred playlist. It is 1676 songs long, so I am giving you all chunks of ~15 songs per post to check out, or just for you to see what music I really like. The previous 7 posts in this series are accessible through the links at the bottom. (Playlist on spotify- http://open.spotify.com/user/128264634/starred )

  2. Hothouse Flowers – “Don’t Go”
  3. Electric Light Orchestra – “Mr. Blue Sky”
  4. The Clancy Brothers – “All Around the Loney-O”
  5. Brandi Carlile – “The Story”
  6. Regina Spektor – “Man of a Thousand Faces”
  7. Kitty White – “He’s Gone Away”
  8. Bon Iver – “Holocene”
  9. Guillaume Cantillon – “Hotel Mirador”
  10. Aqua – “Cartoon Heroes”

  12. Celtic Thunder – “Amazing Grace”
  13. Elephant Revival – “Ring Around the Moon”
  14. Steve Balsamo – “Gethsemane”

Which ones of these songs are you familiar with? Are any of them on your list of ‘favorites’? Now that you’ve had a chance to check out these songs, what do you think of them? Any new favorites? I know my favorite out of these 15 songs is “Don’t Go”, but my favorite song changes from one hour to the next- there’s just too much great music available to just pick one favorite!
