In Brief: Black Friday

Did you brave the crazy people at your local mall or department store today? Was today a no-shopping day for you, in direct defiance against the trend towards more shopping in the days associated with Thanksgiving? Well, either way, if you are/were looking for something to do tonight in Fort Collins, there are a few really great options available.

In the free-show category I have two venues on my radar for tonight- Avogadro’s Number and Cranknstein. At Avogadro’s Number the Old Town Players will be performing a mix of great classic rock covers and originals from now through about midnight. At Cranknstein the band Leaded will be playing starting sometime after 9pm.

In the low-cost range I have one show at the top of my list tonight, Sub-Theory’s rescheduled CD release show at Hodi’s Halfnote for their EP, which was released the week of the flood. Autumn Burn and I the Broken will be playing at this show as well. Cover for this show is $5, and the show should start at about 9ish.
